MANUAL SWING DOORS: HIGH PERFORMANCE AND LOW MAINTENANCE
Installation Manual Door
The humble door – it is a product which has been around for centuries. It not only helps to improve the aesthetics of a property, but provides security. Whilst doors have gradually evolved over the years, to the point where electric operation has made the transition effortless, there continues to be scenarios where a simple manual door is what is required.
If you are looking for an economical solution, a manual door will certainly serve you well. With no electricity to power the door and no sensors required for operation, there is very little which can go wrong. When fitted with the right locking mechanism, this makes them a reliable and secure choice. At DRS Doors we can create a manual door to suit just about any business premises – demonstrated by the swing door we installed at the head office of energy supplier, British Gas.
The project, which was carried out on behalf of Contractors Drewmark, saw our team produce a manual swing door and electric strike and latch at the company’s offices in Windsor. The door we produced was a like-for-like replacement for an existing door which was approaching the end of its lifespan. As part of the installation, we linked the new door to the company’s current access control system, ensuring continuity for staff.
“DRS Doors have given us exactly what we required and we are very pleased with the service” – Rebecca Quirke, Drewmark
